The partnership
The partnership between the National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics (CINI) and ICSC – National Research Center for HPC, Big Data, and Quantum Computing has been renewed for the second consecutive year to support the Cini HPC Summer School, an event promoted by CINI’s HPC: Key Technologies and Tools Laboratory, which will take place from June 16 to 20 in Naples. The school, which offers a comprehensive theoretical and practical program dedicated to all aspects of hardware and software essential for the design and implementation of parallel and distributed computing solutions, is aimed at a diverse audience that includes doctoral students, young researchers, professional engineers in the industrial sector, and particularly deserving master’s students.
The program
Renowned experts from academia and industry will lead the sessions during the five days of the school, offering participants an up-to-date overview of the latest developments and key challenges in the field of high-performance computing. The event is supported by Italian and international sponsors from academia and industry. Participants will follow a comprehensive training program that includes theoretical lessons on the fundamental and advanced concepts of HPC, practical sessions, and mentoring activities focused on four main thematic areas: Architectures; Programming Models and Tools; Accelerators; Libraries, Applications, and Performance Evaluation.
